Frequently Asked Questions

Does TinnitusRecord require an internet connection?

No. All data is stored on your device. TinnitusRecord works fully offline and never contacts external servers.

Can I export my data?

Yes — tap the share icon in the History tab or go to Settings → Export Report. You'll get a plain-text summary you can share or save anywhere.

Will the masking sound keep playing with the screen off?

Yes. Background audio is enabled. The sound continues when the screen locks or you switch apps.

How do I delete an episode?

In the History tab, swipe left on any row and tap Delete.

How do I delete all data?

Go to Settings → Danger Zone → Clear All Data. This is permanent and cannot be undone.

Is my data backed up to iCloud?

TinnitusRecord does not use iCloud sync. Data lives only on your device. Use the export feature to keep a manual backup.
