Sterling et al., Hepatology 2006. Uses age, AST, ALT, and platelet count. Cutoffs: <1.30 low, 1.30–2.67 indeterminate, >2.67 high risk of advanced fibrosis.
Angulo et al., Hepatology 2007. Seven-variable score for predicting advanced fibrosis in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. Cutoffs: <−1.455 low, −1.455 to 0.676 indeterminate, >0.676 high.
Wai et al., Hepatology 2003. AST-to-Platelet Ratio Index. Simple, widely used for fibrosis and cirrhosis screening. Cutoffs: <0.5 low, 0.5–1.5 indeterminate, >1.5 high.
