SmartSip is a fully offline hydration tracker and reminder app for iOS. This policy explains how your data is handled.
None. SmartSip does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. The app contains no advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, tracking SDKs, accounts, or third-party sign-in.
SmartSip stores your hydration records, daily plans, and user settings locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data includes water intake amounts, timestamps, scene types, and schedule preferences. This data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted anywhere.
SmartSip optionally reads your sleep data from Apple Health to refine your reminder schedule, and optionally writes your daily water intake to Apple Health. This integration is entirely on-device via Apple's HealthKit framework. No health data is transmitted to us or any third party. You can revoke these permissions at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health.
SmartSip does not make any network requests. It functions entirely offline.
SmartSip schedules local notifications on your device through Apple's UserNotifications framework. These notifications are generated and delivered entirely on-device and are never sent through any remote push service.
SmartSip is not directed to children under 13. Because it does not collect personal data from any user, it does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above.
